How to Find Us

Our labs and offices are located on the Main Campus as part of D-ITET in the building ETF. The reception is on C-floor, room C 116.

Starting at Zurich Main Station

From Zurich Main Station (Zurich HB) you can catch the tram No. 6 (direction Zoo) at Central until Voltastrasse. The CAiM lab is situated in the Electrotechnic Departement Building (ETZ/ETF) of ETH Zurich and not in the Main Building (HG). You will find ETF on your right hand, 50m down Gloriastrasse from the tram stop Voltastrasse.

Starting at Zurich Airport

Arriving at the Zurich Airport, we recommend to come by train from the Metro Station of the Airport to Zurich HB. There are connections to the Main Station more or less every 10 minutes. From the Main Station follow the directions discribed above.

By Taxi

The easiest and most comfortable way to the Department of Electrical Engineering is to take a taxicab. Ask the driver to take you to the Gloriastrasse 35 in Zürich. This will cost you about CHF. 40.- from the Airport and about CHF 15. - from the Central Railway Station (taxicabs are fairly expensive in Zürich).

By Car

After the Universitätsspital building turn left into Gloriastrasse (direction Zoo). The building Gloriastrasse 35, where the CAiM lab is situated, is on your left in the first right turn of Gloriastrasse.
There are parking places in our underground car park. The entrance door will open automatically and inside there is a parking ticket vending machine. You will find us iin the ETF biuilding on C-floor.
